Physician Clinic Director: Seeking an experienced, dynamic leader with outstanding physician communication skills. The ability to develop a highly efficient, patient centered culture is essential. Prospective candidates must have the ability to manage based on measurable clinical goals and patient experience outcomes consistent with being in the top 10% of clinics nationally. The prospective leader is expected to develop a culture where staff take responsibility for excellence within their clinic while consistently including physician input. Current clinics include family medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, general surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, urology, neurology, and OB/Gyn.
Physician Clinic Director requirements include: Bachelor's degree in business, public or health management or other related field. Minimum of five years knowledge of physician practice management and resource utilization; organizational and management theory and practice; financial systems, budget management, reimbursement issues and regulations; process re-engineering; and technological solutions such as EMR, e-prescribing, phone systems and websites. Experience with EPIC is highly preferred.
