WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR As a positive and energetic practice we are looking for someone with a matching personality that fits working in our progressive practice environment. We are seeking a poised, charismatic, confident, loyal, dedicated, principled, and conscientious therapist with excellent clinical skills, strong follow-through, and warm disposition to serve a building caseload of 20 sessions per week and be an invested team member.
The therapist/provider will be required to have a full working knowledge of all our services, programs, curriculum, and operations, be a proficient therapist facilitating an extraordinary experience and transformation for our clients, complete related case management, assist with intake/enrollment, provide exceptional client care, and participate in programming and practice building activities.
As the position involves being part of our evolving and growing practice, the ideal candidate will not only possess excellent therapeutic skills and personal characteristics but also an additional professional and interpersonal demeanor for a great fit with our practice culture and position. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The position entails serving a building caseload of 20 sessions per week, provide client care, complete related caseload management, assist with intake/enrollment, provide exceptional client care, and participate in programming and practice building activities.
-Provide intake/enrollment coverage -Provide private sessions (in-person and virtual) -Provide client care (i.e., scheduling, celebrations) -Complete caseload management and documentation -Participate in practice building events and activities -Participate in weekly individual consultation/mentoring/supervision -Participate in monthly peer/group ‘supervision’ and team meetings -Participate in quarterly planning -Participate in semi and yearly team retreat or practice outing -Assist with other tasks as assigned
ADDITIONAL POSITION DESCRIPTION PerDiem / No benefits Intake/enrollment coverage is compensated Bonuses and other incentives Flex Schedule: Two weekdays and one weekend day
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE -- Masters Degree in MFT -- Working towards NYS License in MFT -- Integrative theoretical approach with strong knowledge base of relational therapies -- Experience working with couples -- Additional credentialing, training and professional development -- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral -- Proficient with all Office software and open minded about new technology -- Savvy online skills (with resources, research, social media)
