Lee Health’s REGIONAL CANCER CENTER is EXPANDING due to population growth in our tropical paradise by the beaches! Every year since opening in 2008, the Regional Cancer Center has experienced double-digit growth. The five-year success rate for cancers diagnosed and managed within Lee Health exceeds national averages. To continue to provide high-quality comprehensive care in our growing community, Lee Health has begun a multi-million-dollar expansion of the Regional Cancer Center, including a 24,000-square-foot addition to the existing health center on Colonial Boulevard near I-75 in Fort Myers. The expansion is scheduled for completion by fall 2018 and will include space for cancer treatment research. Having most of the providers of cancer care and support in one facility has proven to be even more collaborative than expected. Lee Health also consists of four acute care hospitals, Rehabilitation Hospital, 57 physician offices and more. Lee Health is one of the largest public health systems in the USA that receives no direct tax support.
We are Caring People. Inspiring Health. That’s our promise, and it’s the cornerstone of our unique approach to delivering the highest quality care. Even better, you can experience all of this in a setting where your life beyond work is every bit as rich and satisfying as the career you build within it.
