Gundersen Health System is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine Physician with a desire to do obstetrics in a rural community in beautiful NE Iowa.
Our Waukon clinic is connected to the Critical Access Hospital, Veterans Memorial. Join a team of 3 PA’s and a physician, as well as a wide range of visiting specialties including general & orthopedic surgery, audiology, behavioral health, endocrinology, neurology, nephrology, obstetrics & gynecology, podiatry, cardiology, urology, otolaryngology, pulmonary, and oncology.
1:4 Inpatient call
1:2 OB call
4 day work week option
Patient volume/per day: 14-18
24- hour specialist consultations available
Waukon is located in the Northeast corner of Iowa in Allamakee County. This area has deeply carved river valleys, upward reaching bluffs and outdoor activities for all seasons. Waukon is located 20 minutes from Decorah, IA and 1 hour from La Crosse, WI.
