Parkwood Behavioral Health Systemhas provided behavioral health and chemical dependency services to the Mid-South region since 1987. We are located in DeSoto County, in the uppermost northwest corner of Mississippi and approximately 7 miles south of Memphis.

We offer a full continuum of care that provides treatment options to meet the individual needs of adults, adolescents and children. Parkwood Behavioral Health System includes a 148-bed inpatient acute and residential care facility, as well as partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.
Chemical Dependency Therapist
We are currently seeking a full-time Chemical Dependency Therapist to provide social work services in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Parkwood. The Social Worker/Therapist is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, discharge planning / case management, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within Parkwood.
