Stonington Institute is committed to providing quality substance abuse treatment options for adultsÂ in Southeastern Connecticut and surrounding areas.Â We offerÂ medical detox asÂ well as residential addictions treatment for active duty and retired military service members in our North Stonington location.Â Our clinic in Groton, CT, offers partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment, and is conveniently located across the street from The Inn at Trails Corner, a new 180 bed dormitory-style sober community for adult men and women who attend our outpatient day treatment programs. The Inn offers overnight accommodations, full-meal service, indoor/outdoor recreation options, a workout room, and computer center for all clients.

The Activities Coordinator develops, facilitates and coordinates the activities of the housing program at Stonington Institute in order to provide recreation resources and opportunities for all clients, with a focus on improving health and well-being and providing positive alternatives to substance use. The Activities Coordinator also plans and organizes the on-grounds, after program & weekend recreational activities for clients in the partial hospital/intensive outpatient programs (PHP/IOP) who are residing at Trails Corner.Â Includes checking inventory, ordering supplies, program development and scheduling.
This is a second shift position. Weekends are required. Â
