Primary Responsibilities Audits Point of Care Testing performed for both inpatients and TJUH owned ancillary sites. Ensures consistency and compliance with all applicable accrediting agencies rules and regulations. Evaluates new point of care testing requests and makes recommendations for implementation. Essential Functions Assure compliance with all regulatory agency requirements related to POC Testing.Work with POC clients and advise on instrument selection, QC documentation, etc.Prepare POC utilization reports for review by Laboratory, Hospital, and Nursing Administration.Chair departmental POC Committee.Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.
B.S. in Medical Technology or other appropriate discipline.
MT (ASCP) preferred
Experience Requirements 5 years laboratory experience preferred.
