The Indiana University Department of Medical and Molecular Genetics is excited to expand its clinical genetics services through a new precision medicine initiative funded by the Indiana University Grand Challenge award. We are seeking to hire genetic counselors with interest in cancer genetics and personalized medicine to help develop and implement this compelling new venture. We are hiring to join geneticists in providing genetic evaluation, counseling and follow up in IU Health Physicians’ Medical Genetics, Bone Dysplasia, and Genetics Outreach Clinics.
Candidates must have a Master’s degree from an accredited genetic counseling program and be board certified or board eligible. Indiana license is required. New grads are encouraged to apply to GC-I level positions; please see below for information.
GC I - This position will conduct genetic counseling for pediatric and adult patients in various IU Health Physicians facilities. The incumbent participates in student supervision and teaching. This position involves working as a member of the clinical genetics team, providing information and support to families who have members with birth defects or genetic disorders and to families at- risk for inherited conditions.
