Assistant, Associate or Full Professor ( HS Clinical, Clinical X, In-Residence, Adjunct) Body Imaging
The Department of Radiology at UC San Diego (http://radiology.ucsd.edu) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. Given that commitment, the department is seeking a full-time faculty member to participate in the clinical, teaching, and research programs of the Body Imaging Division of the Department of Radiology.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated academic productivity and scholarship, exemplary clinical care and teaching, and the desire and potential to become an international leader in the field of abdominal imaging. The candidate is expected to participate fully in all the clinical activities of the division and will be responsible for interpreting abdominal CT, MRI, and ultrasound. The candidate will teach fellows, residents, medical students, and visiting scholars and participate in division educational and administrative activities.
Candidates must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. and be board certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology. Candidates must also have completed an ACGME accredited residency training program, completion of prior fellowship training in abdominal imaging, and the ability to practice medicine in California and acquire a California medical license. The department seeks candidates whose research, teaching, or service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to higher education.
Appointment will be at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level. Series will be determined based on qualifications and skills. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales. Next review date: June 30, 2017. Apply by this date to ensure full consideration by the committee.
