Job Description: Furman University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Health Sciences to begin in August 2019 at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Rank depending on the qualifications of the candidate. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree (by August 1, 2019) and must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, student advising, and research with undergraduates resulting in publications. We are interested in hiring faculty members with diverse perspectives who will provide a rich and varied educational experience for our students. The candidate will be expected to teach a comprehensive wellness concepts course that fulfills a general education requirement, a research methods course, and elective courses in the Health Sciences. The teaching responsibility is five courses per academic year.
