POSITION PURPOSE:Â Directs the processing of information for the Admission Department.Â Responsible for MS4/Midas entry of inquiry calls and admissions and trains staff in the use of MS4/Midas.Â Assists with administrative functions of Admissions, including scheduling, filing, supplies and daily coordination of workload for both Acute & RTC Admissions Coordinators.
Expert in MS4/Midas and responsible for ensuring 100% entry of all calls and admissions.Â Provides director with statistical reports, as requested, and suggests measures to improve the delivery and utilization of care and to evaluate the effectiveness of these.
Trains staff in the use of the MS4/Midas and supports the department in having all staff capable and confident in the use of the system.
Compiles and maintains community resources for outside referrals to all levels of care including support groups, other acute and residential facilities, and resources for clients with limited resources.
Expert in documentation, communication, teamwork, and customer service.Advocates for internal and external customers including the client, family, physician, treatment team and manage care organization.
