Boulder Creek Academy is seeking a Clinical Services Director to assist the Executive Director in providing oversight of clinical operations for an adolescent residential treatment boarding school in beautiful Northern Idaho.
Manage initial psychological and clinical evaluations to ensure proper placement and case management to ensure high quality of care.
Oversee case management plans for youth, with bottom line authority in determining changes to child's placement.
Correspond with other facilities (e.g. hospitals, safe-house, other locations) to develop movement plan.
Participate fully in rules, policies and expectations in dealing with students.
Monitor, review, approve and make corrective recommendations for specialized treatment plans.
Reviews quality of group and individual therapy sessions and/or care management.
Responsible for reporting suspicion of abuse or neglect to local Child Protective Services, as well as county of origin, and represents school during charges of internal child abuse.
Maintain relationships with contracted medical services (e.g. medical, psychiatric, dental) as determined necessary per site needs.
Provide professional communication and interaction with families.
Participate in special events such as parent seminars, workshops, and support groups.
Participate in and support the curriculum review committee to oversee and ensure quality and effectiveness of psycho-educational/therapeutic program instruction.
Responsible for training direct care staff as required by state licensing.
Responsible for coaching, counseling and evaluation of each supervised employee, annually.
