Willow Springs Center in Reno, NV has an immediate need for a Director of Clinical Services.
The purpose of this position is to plan, oversee, and direct the operations of the Social Services department as well as Special Services, Outpatient Services and Educational Services, including budgeting, fiscal management, program operations, compliance, and strategic planning. This position collaborates with other members of Leadership to attain a level of clinical excellence as indicated in the Willow Springs Center mission. This position is part of a team tasked to lead and take ownership for every aspect of fiscal operation and service delivery. This position is an essential part of the guiding force of Willow Springs Center.

Takes responsibility for the success of the department as it feeds the success of the facility.
Identifies areas of liability and communicates to the CEO; helps develop solutions to mitigate liability.
Identifies places to partner with other departments to enhance services.
Ensures compliance regulatory requirements.
Assists with recruiting efforts and sits as a member of recruiting/interviewing panels.
Assures compliance with all federal and state legal requirements.
Manages time effectively in order to meet obligations for meetings, reports and information, and public communication.
Establishes and facilitates clear decision-making processes.
Exhibits and promotes personal and professional integrity.
Models and reinforces expectations for ethical conduct.
Directs the response to requests for services and ensures that all Clinical Service functions and responsibilities are completed within a timely manner in accordance with department policies.
Conducts/oversees periodic reviews of patient records, at all levels of care, to assure adequacy and clinical appropriateness of services delivered.
Assures that patients are receiving appropriate and effective treatment, based upon the level of care.
Ensures that the clinical services provided adhere to specific age related standards of care.
Provides input into the development and facilitation of program activities, which assure an optimal therapeutic experience for all patients.
Maintains an active involvement and awareness of all patient admissions, discharges and transfers.
Can assume direct service role, providing a full range of clinical services as necessary (including assessment, treatment planning, documentation, discharge planning and facilitation of individual/family/group therapy).
Develops departmental policies as necessary and creates a plan to review, update, and communicate new policies and changes to existing policies.Stays abreast of all changes to regulatory mandates and informs subordinates of changes. Develops training programs to ensure employees know, understand, and practice in accordance with all Facility protocols and regulatory mandates.
