The behavioral health team at OneWorld is dedicated to meeting the needs of our diverse and underserved patient population. We are currently seeking a Behavioral Health Director to lead this strong and established team. The behavioral health clinicians at OneWorld provide clinical care to patients of all ages. This includes Integrated Care, Outpatient Behavioral Health (mental and substance abuse), Telehealth, and utilization of the AIMS Collaborative Care Model. In addition to supervising the behavioral health team, the Behavioral Health Director also coordinates the day-to-day clinical operation of a behavioral health program that is fully integrated into a primary care practice. As an executive leader at OneWorld, the Behavioral Health Director collaborates with other multidisciplinary leaders to ensure that our patients receive the best care possible. They also manage the department’s budget, implement grants and programming, monitor funding sources, train and develop staff, and establish and maintain collaborative relationships with outside community members and organizations. As a clinician, the Behavioral Health Director provides direct-client care services to patients and confers with consulting medical providers, nurses, and patients’ families concerning the patients’ treatment and care.
This is a full-time position located on our main campus in South Omaha (30th & L). The work schedule will be 40 hours per week, generally Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Our providers are eligible for student loan repayment through the National Health Service Corps. OneWorld has HPSA scores of 20 for primary care, 22 for dental, and 21 for mental health.

QUALIFICATIONS: - PhD prepared Mental Health Practitioner or Psychologist, OR equivalent experience (5 years or more of leadership experience including program evaluation), required. - Licensure as an Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP), Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Psychologist in the state of Nebraska required. (Or license-eligible.) - Proficiency in English required; proficiency in Spanish preferred. - Five or more years of clinical experience required. - Three or more years of leadership and administrative experience required. - Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office products required. - Prior experience with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) program preferred. - Demonstrated ability to work and lead in a team-based environment. - Demonstrated ability to work with culturally diverse patients and staff. - Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to working in a fast-paced clinic, all while maintaining accurate patient documentation in a timely manner.
