Chicago Children's Center for Behavioral Health is proud to be affiliated with UHS. We have a fulltime position for a compassionate caring therapist who enjoys working with adolescents and pediatric behavioral health patients.
The Program Therapist performs social service functions to include assisting clients in meeting their bio-psycho-social needs while enabling them to access through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, teaching, and specialized clinical social services for consumers/families receiving care. The clinical social services provided includes crisis intervention, individual therapy, short and/or long-term family therapy, group therapy, treatment planning and discharge planning. The Program Therapist serves as an integral member of the treatment team and is also responsible for case management of consumer's internal/external support systems.
