Havenwyck Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Residential Care Specialist (RCS) to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.
The RCS performs routine residential care duties and selected non-professional services under the supervision of the Director of Residential Services, Program Manager and RCS Supervisor. Duties include but are not limited to:
Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
Provide care to children/adolescents in a manner that considers safety, residents' rights and comfort.
Assist with resident admissions, discharges and transfers.
Continuously observe resident behavior, mental status and activities and reports this information to the appropriate clinical staff.
Assist residents with activities of daily living and encourages independent behavior.
Participate in the implementation of the resident's individualized plan of care.
Treat all residents and staff with dignity and respect.
Represent the facility in a manner that conveys a professional, courteous, caring and cooperative attitude.
