Care Connection is our Nurse Telephone Triage Center. As part of the Care Connection team, you will use your clinical background and strong phone skills to assist patients on the phone.
This opportunity allows you to join other nursing professionals in a supportive environment where you are empowered to do your work well. As a member of the Care Connection team, you will independently triage phone calls from patients and/or family members inquiring about their symptoms, medication refills, test results, and information regarding our facilities.
Full time, Monday - Friday - no weekends! Fully benefit eligible.
Basic Life Support
Either LPN-MN or CMA required
Ability to communication over the phone
1 to 3 years of LPN or CMA experience preferred
Achieves thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task
Ability to use a computer and applications that are associated with performing basic work tasks (use a mouse; navigate in Windows, Outlook, etc.)
Skilled in developing effective rapport with customers, co-workers, or families, actively listening to develop a positive connection
Ability to interact effectively with people of different cultures. Cultural competence comprises four components: (a) Awareness of one's own cultural worldview, (b) Attitude towards cultural differences, (c) Knowledge of different cultural practices and worldviews, and (d) cross-cultural skills.
Utilizes the nursing process to provide holistic, compassionate, safe, high quality, population based care
Observes and collects pertinent data and/or clinical findings to enhance patient outcomes
