Performs those duties related to the gathering andcalculation of hemodynamic data during coronary angiograms and other relatedinvasive procedures. Demonstratescomplete working knowledge of all monitoring equipment within the departmentincluding hemodynamic monitor, oximeter, cardiac output, and all transducersduring procedures. Reviews patientinformation and exam requisition for physician notes and/or specialinstructions. Consults withCardiologist, Interventional Radiologist, and other physicians to ensure safeand appropriate procedures.
The Cardiovascular Tech of the Angiosuite is proficient inassisting in cardiac catheterization procedures, vascular procedures, andinterventional radiology procedures.
Minimum of 2 yearsâ experience in a Cath Lab andcurrent CVT experience
American Heart Association BLS/CPR and
American Heart Association ACLS
Graduate of a recognized accredited cardiovascularschool preferred
