We are seeking a full-time (36 - 40 hours/week) Genetic Counselor to join a rapidly growing cancer genetics program that supports a highly engaged medical staff of surgeons, oncologists, hematologists, and cancer genomics.

At the direction of the senior genetic counselor, the genetic counselor will:
Provide cancer risk assessment and genetic counseling services to individuals or families at risk for an inherited predisposition to cancer.
Coordinate genetic testing and provide appropriate follow-up.
Attend multidisciplinary tumor boards and provide expert opinion related to genetic counseling and testing that may affect the patient's treatment plan.
Participate in ongoing development of department protocols.
Communicate with referring providers and provide education.
Ample opportunity to participate in teaching of residents, medical and genetic counseling students also exists.
Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling or the equivalent in education and experience required.
Excellent communication skills required.
Required Licensure/Certification Skills:
Board certification/eligibility in Genetic Counseling by the American Board of Genetic Counseling and Medical Genetics required.
Licensed Genetic Counselor in the state of New Hampshire.
