Children’s Psychiatric Center Programs for Children is currently seeking a Clinical Counselor or Social Worker, preferably with one or more of the following licensures:
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in State of New Mexico
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in State of New Mexico
Marriage and Family Therapist License State of New Mexico
Our Programs for Children and Adolescents is the outpatient department for Children’s Psychiatric Center. It is a high volume outpatient treatment setting. We work with children and their families who have varied and sometimes multiple psychiatric diagnoses. In this role, you will provide, oversee, and/or administer a wide range of psychosocial evaluation/assessment, diagnostic, counseling therapy, crisis intervention, and/or case management services in a high-intensity clinical environment which requires a high degree of independent decision-making and program administration. You will lead and train lower level counselors/social workers, students, and/or interns engaged in related therapeutic/patient care activities, as appropriate to the individual position.
Other qualifications include:
Master's degree in a related discipline
Documented experience in age appropriate environment
3 years directly related experience
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
