Background The Team Leader is a Senior Clinician responsible for all aspects of the day to day management of the Child First Program and IICAPS (Intensive In-Home Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services) Program. He/she supervises all functions of the assigned program and staff, including performing program and staff evaluation, record keeping, training, grant management, communication with all involved parties, personnel management and other such duties. The Team Leader works closely with the Wellmore, Inc. CEO and Director of Home based Treatment Services on the implementation, supervision and development of both programs. He/she is assigned to carry a cell phone and responds to all calls for assistance either by telephone or in person (as indicated), 24 hours a day. She/he works flexible hours, as based on the needs of client families and staff.

Requirements A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Work and a Connecticut license as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Professional Counselor, Social Worker (LCSW) or a doctorate in Psychology and a Connecticut license as a Psychologist is required. Early Childhood experience required. Two to five years post graduate clinical experience working with children, adolescents and families is required. Five or more years experience is preferred. Demonstrated experience working with culturally diverse families and cultural competency is required. Experience providing supervision (to both professionals and paraprofessionals) and the necessary credentialing from NASW, AAMFT or the APA (or a similar credentialing body which approves supervisors or supervisors in training, status etc.) is required. Demonstrated leadership abilities through a combination of training and work experience is required.
