Princeton Health is currently searching for a Full Time, Evenings, Medical Technologist I at the Princeton Medical Center, Lab.
The hours for this position are 3:00pm - 11:30pm; every third weekend; 1 summer holiday and 1 winter holiday.
This position is eligible for shift differential and benefits.
Position Summary: To perform complex study procedures within the clinical section assigned. Must be capable of competing assigned tasks using complicated automated instrumentation and techniques. Work independently with attention to detail to interpret complex test results and resolve instrument and/or serologic problems. Performs all duties in accordance with the applicable regulatory requirements. Must also perform special responsibilities as assigned by the Section Supervisor involving the QC/PM Programs.

- Bachelor’s degree in chemical, biological or laboratory science/medical technology science
- M.T. (ASCP or NCA) certified OR previously qualified as Medical Technologist prior to 2/28/92 under 42CFR493.1427 (3/14/90)
- Recent experience in a laboratory setting
- Proven ability to work with related complex automated instrumentation
- Pushing/Pulling (up to 50 pounds) - Frequently
- Lifting/Carrying (up to 50 pounds) - Frequently
- Three (3) to four (4) years general lab experience as well as experience in blood bank
- MT/MLS ASCP
