Tenet Healthcare is seeking a driven, innovative and motivated leader with strong experience in social media strategy and execution. Successful execution of the strategy will educate and inspire consumers to experience hospital services in areas such as pregnancy, heart care, emergencies, joint pain, and surgical weight loss.
Reporting to the Manager, Digital Marketing, the specialist will drive best practices and engagement of industry-leading consumer focused social media marketing for Tenet Healthcare and its Brands. Focus areas for the role include Paid, Organic, and Earned Media, across all social media channels. The Specialist must exhibit a high degree of comfort with social platforms, reporting, and analytics as well as an interest in social media best practices and innovative new campaigns.
On strategic projects, the specialist will work with other cross-functional stakeholders to define the roadmap, capture business requirements, and deliver digital/social experiences that achieve desired business outcomes in collaboration with leaders in each of the target markets. Most of all, enjoys social media marketing and brings energy and momentum to the team.
Leadership & Strategy
Drive innovative approach to organic and paid social media, enjoys learning and driving new innovative campaigns
Work in collaboration with the team to develop best practices for event marketing and Live Stream events
Able to effectively communicate best practices, teach strategy and lead local campaigns in coordination with each marketï¿½s business needs
Partner with Marketing, IT, and Agencies to craft Tenet Healthï¿½s social media vision and ensure that it supports key business objectives
Partner with Agency on media strategy, planning, monitoring, ad optimization, and reporting
Support development of consumer engagement strategy on social media platforms along with key stakeholders
Work with Legal, compliance, and IT on driving new initiatives and on-boarding vendors
Planning and Execution
Translate an integrated social media marketing strategy into design, content and communication across social channels
Create and manage detailed project plans including key milestones, dependencies, and resources to manage execution of social media marketing campaigns
Support variety of project workstreams including strategy, campaign execution, experiments, optimization, and analytics
Understand of the overall Digital Marketing landscape and how social media can play a role in marketing efforts across all channels and platforms
2-3+ yearsï¿½ experience with social media strategy development and execution with agencies to drive performance
Strong understanding of social media advertising from media strategy, planning, monitoring, optimization to reporting
Proficiency in marketing analytics, reporting, and tracking consumer journey to conversion
Comfort with social media marketing technology and publishing platforms including content management systems, hootsuite, meltwater, talkwalker, Google Analytics
Strong business acumen and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives
Strong presentation skills and ability to synthesize complex information for variety of stakeholders
Ability to work independently, be coachable, and work within a matrixed organization
Education and Experience
BA/BS in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or Business Management
Background/interest in healthcare strongly preferred
3+ years relevant experience developing and implementing digital strategy
Strong and proven track record/performance in managing complex projects
