DESCRIPTION: Leadership position that combines direct clinical contact with unit and staff supervision. Provides supervision of staff and students according to the guideline of institution and licensure standards. Ensures compliance with documentation standards. Develops treatment plan with client system and multi-disciplinary team. Provides individual, family and group psychotherapy. Exercises supervisory authority and independent judgment in assigning employee labor. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc. Exercises supervisory authority and independent judgment in directing employee labor. Makes recommendations regarding the ongoing performance evaluation of supervised staff and resulting actions (i.e. reward, discipline, discharge, etc.). Participates in leadership team in the development and implementation of unit programming, performance improvement / quality assurance, compliance with NJ regulations, and transitions in care.
REQUIREMENTS: MSW. Licensed Clinical Social Worker according to the New Jersey Social Work Licensure Act, LCSW required + 3 years experience and clinical supervisor certificate. Must be able to supervise LSW s. Spanish speaking preferred. SIFI preferred
