Is responsible to the Director of Surgical Services to assist with the daily operation, planning and coordination of patient care within the assigned department. Interfaces with all hospital departments, medical staff and community as a representative of GSMC. Assures services are provided in compliance with GSMC and department standards, policies and procedures. Provides direction to ensure high quality programs and care in a cost effective manner.
Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) required. Perfusionist license with the ability to practice in the state of Texas required.
Graduate from a school of Cardiovascular Perfusion; Bachelor's degree preferred.
A minimum of five (5) years experience. Must have experience in staffing and scheduling management, staff development, personnel management, financial management, and inventory control.
