Performs routine and stat clinical pathology testing appropriate to the laboratory discipline and reports results in a timely manner with occasional guidance. Medical Laboratory Technician Equivalent Certification and Technician Licensure in the state of Tennessee. Allowed 120 days to obtain State of Tennessee license. Considered 'in training' prior to license approval and 1 year of relevant work experience

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES: DIAGNOSTIC TESTING - (NOVICE): - Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate diagnostic testing in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE - (NOVICE): - Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate the ability to maintain equipment, products, or systems in practical applications of moderate difficulty. Assures that parts inventory is sufficient.
