Job Summary: Responsibilities include: day to day operations of the department, staffing based on patient load, and assist with quality and efficient patient care. Performs EEGs, ambulatory EEGs for all ages of patients. Performs continuous video EEG epilepsy monitoring, independent intraoperative monitoring and evoked potential studies. Responsible for recording electrical activity of the patient's brain to study epilepsy, convulsive disorders and localizing lesions in the cerebrum. Assist with EMG studies as needed. Performs clerical duties. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality (CQI) improvement activities.
