The Genetic Counselor works independently to serve the St. Luke's Hospital Clinic Division by providing personalized help patients may need as they make decisions about their genetic health. The Genetic Counselor assesses individual or family risk for a variety of inherited conditions, such as genetic disorders and birth defects. They provide information and advice to other healthcare providers, or to individuals and families concerned with the risk of inherited conditions.
