Reporting directly to the VP HR-CHRO, the Chief Diversity Officer will work closely with our boards, leaders, physicians, teammates, patients and the community to provide leadership in developing and implementing strategic initiatives that, at their core, serve to improve the teammate and patient experience, and to reduce health disparities and inequities in all aspects of organizational functions.

The strategic leader we are seeking for this director-level position has these qualifications:
At least 5 years diversity and inclusion leadership or related experience; healthcare industry highly preferred
Bachelor’s degree; master’s degree preferred (MBA, MPA, MHA, or related)
Strategic vision, executive acumen, change-management expertise, and political savvy
Persuasive, effective communication and relationship building abilities across a variety of diversity dimensions
Keen analysis of quantitative and qualitative data with focus on information conversion and prioritized planning and execution
Expertise in cultural competence and diversity/inclusion strategies
Superior communication, coaching, facilitation, problem-solving and conflict-management skills
Ability to influence decision-making throughout the organization
