Brandman University is seeking to fill a twelve-month faculty position within the School of Arts and Sciences (subject to final budgetary approval). This position will serve as Assistant Field Director, supporting the Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) and Professional Clinical Counseling (PCC) programs, which enroll students across the United States. The Assistant Field Director provides professional support and administrative oversight for field practicum operations under the technical guidance of the Field Director. The Assistant Director prepares students for the field placement process; facilitates agency procurement for student field placements; maintains existing agency agreements; teaches online practicum courses; and participates in periodic updating of practicum policies and procedures. The Assistant Director works with practicum instructors and Agency Supervisors to respond to any issues pertaining to field education. The Assistant Director also provides comprehensive support to students, practicum faculty and agency supervisors, directors, executive directors and other agency leaders through implementation of procedures and policy. The Assistant Director is expected to work and teach online, rather than from a physical campus.

Ph.D. in Marriage & Family Therapy, Ph.D. in Psychology, Psy.D., or DMFT
Current MFT license
AAMFT Approved Supervisor status
Experience in online instruction
Experience in the management of programs of significant scope and complexity

Prior experience working with a diverse community.
Prior experience working with non-traditional students.
Experience with student placements in an online setting.
