High School graduate. Completion of medically approved school of Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program
ARRT registered in good standing
Current State of Florida License
American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
Current BLS Certification
Skills and Abilities
Excellent Customer Service Skills in order to project a positive image of the department and hospital.
Requires the ability to move between people-oriented problems and tasks oriented procedures as necessary. Must have a good working knowledge of anatomy, understand principles of physics, electricity, and methods of exposure to obtain clearly defined radiographs; and be able to set up and operate all types of equipment that will be used in a modern MRI department. Must know how to process radiographs. Should have sufficient knowledge of psychology, patient care, and sterile techniques to deal with all types of conditions of patients. Requires spatial and form perception to visualize and critique radiographic films.
