Newly built and established freestanding Outpatient Surgery Center with 3 ORs and 1 procedure room specializing in ENT surgery is looking for a Nurse Director/Administrator to direct all clinical and administrative functions. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is looking for a leadership position whose knowledge and experience can be utilized to the highest extent. The ASC is a beautifully constructed modern facility located in the heart of beautiful Palm Beach County, Florida.
Responsibilities include administration of the ASC operations and environment of care, coordination of and participation in patient clinical care in the PACU/ Post Op and the ORs, maintenance of a superior Quality Management Program, regulatory compliance, and maintenance of state and national accreditation and certifications, adherence and continuing review and development of policies and procedures.
Nursing degree with BSN preferred. Current Florida active nursing license or ability to be licensed in the state of Florida. Experience in the management of ASC including nursing staffing and personnel administration, scheduling and coordination. Experience in pre- and post-operative nursing care of both pediatric and adult patients. Working knowledge and understanding of regulatory aspects and AAAHC and CMS regulations and accreditation requirements. High level of organizational skills coupled with comprehensive computer skills. Proven ability to communicate well with professional staff and physicians. Proven ability to communicate well with the patients and their families with full knowledge and adherence to HIPAA rules and regulations. Current PALS and ACLS certification.
