This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Learn more As the Mental Health Clinic Center (MHCC) CBOCs Coordinator, the incumbent oversees the day to day functioning of all multidisciplinary personnel assigned to the clinic in all administrative aspects of service delivery at the Loch Raven VA Medical Center MHC. This includes leading Mental Health Clinic Center (MHCC) CBOCs treatment and administrative team meetings and keeping administrative minutes of all meetings. The incumbent will be responsible for assigning new and returning patients to treatment providers for psychotherapy and medication management. The Mental Health Clinic Center (MHCC) CBOCs Coordinator is responsible for timely responses to consults and assigns consult to providers. The incumbent is responsible for timely completion of all clinical documentation as required by the medical center. The incumbent assures the Mental Health Clinic Center (MHCC) CBOCs meets or exceeds internal and external review criteria, performance measures, clinical reminders, and Joint Commission standards. The incumbent will regularly address survey recommendations in a timely fashion and will directly support the Program Manager, Outpatient Mental Health Services and others in VAMHCS leadership in maintaining open access to the Mental Health Clinic Center (MHCC) CBOCs, minimizing any barriers to care. The incumbent is a licensed, privileged, and credentialed member of the Medical Staff who is an experienced, and senior skilled clinician. S/he provides direct patient care as needed including, but not necessarily limited to psychological assessment, and a full range of evidence-based psychological treatments (individual/group psychotherapy, couples and family psychotherapy).
