This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. Learn more This position serves as the Program Manager for the Primary Care - Mental Health Integration (PCMHI) Program and Behavioral Health Lab (BHL) and the Health Behavior Coordinator (HBC) at all locations of the Orlando VA Healthcare System: Lake Nona, Lake Baldwin, Viera, Daytona Beach, Deltona, Tavares, Kissimmee, Clermont and Palm Bay. The Program Manager is expected to be familiar with and comfortable working in a primary care setting, dealing primarily with medical issues and duties include, but are not limited to the following: Provides direct administrative and professional supervision of subordinates and clinical oversight of other staff assigned to the PC/MHI Program. Provides a full range of psycho-diagnostic services including assessment and using the most appropriate psychotherapeutic techniques in providing quality care. Provides a full range of therapeutic interventions including individual and group therapies for a full range of behavioral, adjustment and lifestyle problems. Involved in the training of medical students, medical and psychiatric residents, nursing students, fellows and other graduate or post-graduate trainees, as appropriate. Ensures efficient operation of the PC/MHI programming, including Health Behavior programming within the PACT teams. Consults with and serves as a resource for other professional staff concerning the need for the development of mental health services.
