The Center for Translational Neuroscience at the University of Oregon invites applications for a full-time Lecturer in a new Online Master’s in Applied Psychology (OMAP) program. The lecturer will be responsible for teaching new and existing online courses and developing new courses. The position requires a candidate with extensive experience in teaching applied psychology courses related to intervention development, refinement, and implementation. Curriculum development experience is also required. The Lecturer will work under the OMAP Program Director and aid the Program Director in managing the program and ensuring that the Program Learning Objectives are met by its courses and other pedagogical elements. The Lecturer will work with people in other units including the Teaching Engagement Program and the Vice Provost for Online Education to develop and deliver online content. The Lecturer will be part of a team including the Program Director, tenure-track faculty in the Department of Psychology and the Center for Translational Neuroscience, and a part-time program assistant to ensure the OMAP program meets its overarching goals.

Minimum Requirements • Doctorate in Psychology, Applied Psychology, or related field • Two years of experience teaching courses in psychology including but not limited to intervention science, implementation, program development, research methods, and statistics • One year of experience in course and curriculum development in or related to psychology

Preferred Qualifications • Experience teaching online courses, particularly in psychology • Experience developing content and curriculum for online programs • Experience in academic program development and management • Three years of experience teaching courses in psychology including but not limited to intervention science, implementation, program development, research methods, and statistics
