Position location is within the Adult Outpatient Mental Health Programs. We provide services across acute levels of care including partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient (IOP) and day treatment. The primary role for this position is in the Dual Disorder program and mental health and substance use disorder experience is preferred. The Dual Disorder program is an intensive outpatient program that provides services to patients with primary mental health diagnoses and substance use disorders. Patients attend groups 3 hrs/day; 5 days/week for approximately 6 to 8 weeks. Program services are provided by a multi-disciplinary team including the Licensed Psychotherapist, Occupational Therapist, and Registered Nurse.
Services are provided within a large academic healthcare system and are based out of the University of Minnesota Medical Center, West Bank. All services are currently offered via telehealth with the opportunity to work from home or onsite. Programs will be expanding to offer both telehealth and in-person services to patients.
Licensed Psychotherapist facilitates group psychotherapy and psych-education for patients.
Licensed Psychotherapist determines clinical interventions, facilitates treatment planning, coordinates transition, provides case management and crisis intervention as needed. Documentation is completed in the Electronic Health Record.
Staff may work across programs with a variety of mental health populations and position provides ongoing opportunity for growth and development.
LP, LICSW, LPCC or LMFT (Doctorate level LP preferred).
Basic Life Support Certification
2 years of supervised therapy experience in mental health assessment, individual, group or family therapy.
