Medical Social Worker - Patient & Family Services - FT/Days
SUMMARY: This position is accountable for meeting the psychosocial needs of patients and families through clinical assessment, crisis intervention, brief therapy, case consultation with the healthcare team and collaboration with other professionals in the community. Mental Health interventions, including 5150 evaluations, are an essential component of the service provision.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Master Degree from an accredited School of Social Work. Must be eligible for California Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure. Prefer prior experience in a health care environment. Bilingual skills desirable.
Eligible for 5150 certification via Madera County Behavioral Health is preferred.
POSITION DETAILS: Full time 80 hours per pay period.
