The Yale Child Study Center has an opening for a full time or part-time board certified or board eligible child and adolescent psychiatrist dedicated to a career in clinical practice in an academic department. The mission of the Yale Child Study Center is to improve the mental health of children and families, advance understanding of their psychological and developmental needs, and treat and prevent childhood mental illness through the integration of research, clinical practice, and professional training.
This clinical track faculty position will be at the level of Assistant Professor. Successful candidates will be excellent clinicians who will provide psychiatric outpatient clinical services, including medication management and therapy, to children and adolescents through our contract with the Yale Center for Behavioral Health and Wellbeing in Westport, CT. Services to families are provided both in person and virtually. Individuals in this position will also be a part of the faculty of the Center with opportunities to engage in educational and scholarly activities.
