Addiction Therapist
This incumbent functions as an Addiction Therapist in the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment programs located at the Dayton VA Medical Center. The position requires extensive work with SUD veterans diagnosed with substance use disorders. The SUD population of veterans will receive a variety of therapeutic services. The incumbent will be organized in order to offer assistance to the outpatient program, opiate treatment program (OTP) and residential treatment. Major duties and responsibilities include: The incumbent functions as an addiction therapist an interdisciplinary team. The position requires extensive work with veterans diagnosed with addiction disorders. Work is complex with data tracking ability to work in both opioid and intensive outpatient programs.
