The incumbent is responsible for the management, coordination and provision of social work services to Veterans and their families on the Acute Mental Health unit. The incumbent is responsible for completing biopsychosocial assessments, psychosocial treatment planning, case management, individual, couples and group therapies/psychosocial counseling, advance directives, and coordination of discharge plans for veterans admitted to the Acute Mental Health Unit. 1. Conduct biopsychosocial assessments to determine needs of Veterans and family members. 2. Participant in the treatment planning process with the interdisciplinary treatment team.
