The Substance Use Disorder(SUD) Care Coordinator, focuses on developing a recovery oriented system/plan for outreach that would lead to engagement of all veterans with SUD where ever they are in the clinic the service(ER, inpatient), primary care or even in the medical hospital. The goal of the SUD Care Coordinator is to develop, implement, and assess the benefit of a behaviorally-oriented program of psychosocial rehabilitation, case management and treatment for SUD veterans.
