The School of Human Services, Child and Family Development program at the University of Central Missouri invites applications for one Assistant Instructor to serve as the Marriage and Family Therapy Clinic Director, position 997224 in the Marriage and Family Therapy, Human Development and Family Science graduate program. The position will begin on August 1, 2022. 

Candidates should provide evidence of demonstrated effectiveness in supervision, teaching, engagement in service/outreach, ability to advance the department’s commitment to diversity, excellent team collaboration skills, competency in instructional technology, and excellent oral and written communication skills. This position carries responsibilities for clinical supervision limited teaching, service, advisement, recruitment, and networking with professionals in the field. The position of the Clinic Director will assist in the implementation of the Marriage and Family Therapy specialization in the Human Development and Family Science MS program. Applicant must hold a license to practice MFT and be an approved supervisor with AAMFT or candidate for approved supervisor. Preference may be given to candidates with experience in supervision, clinic management, teaching experience, and MFT program development.

Requirements: a) An earned master’s or doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Couple Counseling, Human Development, Family Studies, or related field preferred at time of hire; b) Licensed Marital and Family Therapist; c) Approved Supervisor or candidate for Approved Supervisor Designation with the American Association for Marital and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
