The Social Worker will work within the Mental Health PCC at the Bronx VA to assist in the delivery of evidence based & measure based care for mental health patients identified with a variety of emotional and psychiatric problems such depression, anxiety disorders, and PTSD, substance use disorders such as alcohol misuse, and psychosocial problems such as housing or occupational assistance. The role is a case-manager, counselor and/or psychotherapist providing services to individual and groups. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Education: Have a master's degree in social work from a school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
