Lake Regional a not-for-profit hospital in the beautiful Lake of the Ozark is actively seeking a Microbiology Laboratory Lead Technologist to join our team!

As the section leader for microbiology, the microbiology laboratory lead technologist will work the bench, maintain equipment, analyze data, update policy procedures, educate new hires, act as a resource to current laboratory medical technologists, and ensure state, and federal regulatory compliance is consistently maintained. The Lead reports to the Director of Laboratory Services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or a chemical, physical or biological science
• Must currently be registered as an MLS (ASCP) or MT (ASCP) or able to become registered within one year of hire.
• Minimum of one year of experience in microbiology
• Prefer 1 year of previous supervisory experience
