Seeking a full-time/day-shift Psychologist to join the team at Providence Medical Associates Hawthorne clinics in the greater Los Angeles area. In this role, you will evaluate and treat patients with mental health and substance abuse disorders, using appropriate DSM IV criteria. Duties will include treating patients by using a variety of brief psychotherapy techniques where indicated, including crisis intervention, cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, family, marital and supportive approaches. You will work primarily in the Primary Care clinic as a regular team member and provide brief assessment, intervention and onsite consultation to the Primary Care team regarding psychiatric/psychosocial concerns and health behavior change. Bring comprehensive Behavioral Health care to patients in a Primary Care setting and experience a healthy work-life balance in Los Angeles, California.

• At Least two years of clinical experience in the provision of Behavioral Health services to a wide range of patients
• The ability to provide clinical services in Spanish to meet the needs of the local community is preferred
• Must be licensed in the State of California to practice independently as a Psychologist (PhD or PsyD)
