Nature of Work The Community Health Provider is a position in the Las Cruces Fire Department that works closely with the Community Health Coordinator in the Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH)/Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) programs as a licensed provider in the field, providing direct client interaction and resource navigation services to mitigate risk for the community. Provides in-field services to high-need community members, executes assessments, utilizes evidence-based practices and therapies for intervention and treatment, and makes referrals as needed.   Work Situation Factors: May be exposed to various weather and situational hazards. Various levels of mental application required. Position involves competing demands,
