The Senior Social Worker (Homelessness) is assigned to the Behavioral Health Care Line, and is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, VA Health Care System campus. The incumbent serves as a coordinator of programming for Veterans with SUD who need assistance with community resources, such as those that are homeless or at risk for homelessness within the Outpatient Specialty Section and across other levels of mental health care. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
