The Social Worker is assigned to the Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Center (PRRC) and will provide clinical services at the Bath VA Medical Center. Incumbent provides the full range of counseling services, including comprehensive therapy, client advocacy, and coordination of linkages to other appropriate VA or community service providers and/or agencies as needed by clientele. This position works with veterans with chronic severe mental illness, and has a large group therapy focus. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
