DescriptionSUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: To coordinate the triage and referral of infants, children and adolescents into appropriate psychiatric, developmental disabilities or other services within a complex medical center and related services/agencies dedicated to the care of infants, adolescents and children.REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIESPatient Care2 Consultant role across units for patients failing to respond to milieu interventions whose symptoms are severe in duration, intensity, and ingrained in trauma. Conducts comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBA) which require dedicated time, expertise and supervision to complete individual plans. Attends round, works with interdisciplinary teams in treatment planning;
