This position is located at the Albany VA Medical Center in Albany, NY. The incumbent holds a valid state license to practice either social work independently or psychology at the doctoral level from a fully accredited program. The selected Social Worker/Psychologist will serve as the behavioral health consultant on an interdisciplinary medical team, conducting initial mental health assessments and providing evidence-based individual and group therapy. Applicants pending the completion of educational, or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
